At this time we ask to have your contractor available or we can bring our contractor in to bid out the job and insure that nothing is overlooked. We will meet in your home so the designer can get a personal perspective of your environment, the style of your home and decorating preferences. The designer will ask questions pertaining to your kitchen or bath routines and needs, what you like currently, what you dislike. ( see questionnaire) We will discuss our time frame for completion and your budget. We will discuss initial design opportunities, take measurements and pictures for reference. Once we have discussed and reviewed our process and your needs we will require a retainer fee to further develop design concepts and move to phase 2. Phase 2: Once Retainer is received we begin the design process by drawing up 3 or more floor plans that all utilize the space creatively and efficiently. Traffic flow, cooking and storage style are huge parts of the design layout. We will meet to review the design options presented and determine the best layout together, we will incorporate the best aspects of all the concepts to create the most appropriate and creative use of your space. This phase is where your wants and needs discussed in the previous phase come together. Phase 3: Once we have a solid floor plan we will begin the process of product selection. This is the phase where we incorporate aesthetics. Based on a previously discussed budget, our designers will present you with options for appliances, cabinets, and an overall color pallet including countertop options, flooring, plumbing fixtures etc. this phase may require several meetings in house or at a supplier. Each meeting will develop the overall look and finalize the product selections. No detail will be overlooked. Phase 4: Review and purchase This is the final phase of the design process before we begin product purchasing and installation. It is at this phase we meet to review all the product selections and there pricing. We always attempt to stay in budget, however clients want some things that are budget breakers. We will provide options that are relatively similar so you have the option to review and change your budget or select comparable products that are less demanding on your overall budget. Once all the details and costing are approved we will either turn over a full construction and specification packet to you or your contractor, or conduct a final review meeting with our contractor to finalize installation costs. If you choose our installers-Installation will not commence until all products have been ordered received and checked for damages as to prevent costly and aggravating delays in the installation process. Installation When utilizing our installers you will have the option of project management. We will coordinate all aspects of the installation from product ordering, follow-up and delivery, we will coordinate installs and manage the project to insure the design reaches an accurate and timely completion.
